We visited JO.CO last weekend after family members recommended this Cafe and we are so glad we did! Everything was great, the environment was calm and inspiring, very well decorated with relaxing music, the staff was very nice and friendly, the food was delicious and we didn’t have to wait too long for our Portuguese brunch! We will be returning and bring our friends here! It is dog friendly too, so no family member has to be left behind :D
Well, if ever a Cafe/Coffee Shop deserved its high rating, it's this one. We have family in Brighton and this seemed to tick all our usual boxes as a place to try out that is en route. Located in what looks like the original village Garage, it's our type of cafe. Service friendly, amazing range of cakes and pastries plus an excellent flat white coffee. This is now firmly in the top five of our favourite coffee shops in and around Brighton .

Went here twice in 2 days, taking a good mate second time. This place is "next level" good. Charming owners and staff. Top quality drinks and food. Thoroughly recommended.
Such a sweet small cafe with character, and it had a Portuguese influence to it.. Had the salmon, scrambled eggs and avocado on sourdough and the burata (although they had run out and had mozzarella instead), balsamic glaze and tomato on sourdough..beautifully presented and tasty. The mocha was very chocolatey and delish.. The staff were lovely and friendly - will return for sure to this little place in Handcross..
I love JO.CO’s as the food is simply delicious. They utilise only the freshest of ingredients and ensure that each dish is prepared with detail. The freshly squeezed juice is a must. Coffee is also great. I don’t eat cakes often but I’m always tempted and give in to their Cinnamon buns... The atmosphere is always very warm and welcoming. Michael the Owner is very attentive, friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended
We had the pleasure of visiting today for lunch and we both soo blown away, the staff here are so welcoming and friendly and evidently so proud of their business as they should be. They gave recommendations and discussed the menu with us. The food was fresh and delicious and they portions were generous. The coffee was also sooo delicious. The place is also beautifully decorated it reminded me soo much of being back in Portugal. I wish we lived closer as we would visit more often, can’t wait to come back again soon! Don’t forgot to have a pastel de nata omgggg as good as in Portugal!!!
